5 stars (Exceptional) Great Italian movie set on Capri in 1952. Shy Troisi brings mail to the great Chilean poet Pablo Neruda exiled in a mansion far above the fishing village. They become friends, and Troisi gains confidence. Great acting, lovely characters; recommended. ~Sandy
4 stars (Very Good) It has used one of the most beautiful filming locations and the photography does it justice. It falters a bit toward the end but for the most part, the screenplay avoids being over sentimental which is really some achievement. ~Tubbs
