Little White Lies
Aroview: Airy ensemble from the dir. of TELL NO ONE about a group of French sophisticates whose annual seaside reunion is disturbed when one of them is badly injured in an automobile accident.
Obviously modelled on THE BIG CHILL, but with looser morals and greater wine and cigarette consumption, actor Guillaume Canet fully indulges his elite show biz credentials in directing his star wife Marion Cottilard and friends. This might pass as escapist fancy for die-hard Francophiles, but the banality of the dramas and the indiscreet charms of this bourgeois mob make this a serious stretch at two-and-a-half hours.

4 stars (Very Good) This gets away with a huge amount of cheesyness due to the french swagger. ~atsophie
2 stars (Good Try) When the characters spend half the film kissing everyone else there is not much hope. ~Tubbs
