Elite Squad: The Enemy Within
“An exhilarating and at times tear-jerking ride through the city’s prisons, slums, hospitals and parliament that cuts dangerously close to the bone.”~Tom Phillips, Screendaily
Aroview: This riveting sequel to dir. Padilha's blockbuster policier features a more politically engaged storyline, with plenty of new angles on the corruption within Brazil's police and judicial system, while remaining studded with the same explosive gun fights, prison riots, and slum wars established in the first film.

2 stars (Good Try) Yet another drama based on police and political corruption in Brazil. Because of its familiarity, there are no surprises and the screenplay comes across as simplistic. ~Tubbs
