Community (TV Series)
Aroview: Carried by a passionate internet following, this savvy American sitcom centred on the lives of seven disparate adults who form a study group while attending a fictional community college nails the oft-tried but rarely perfected strain of meta-humour and pop-cultural reference in TV comedy.
A natural descendant of 30 ROCK, yet more imaginative than anything else on television, a good portion of the show's humour is reserved for the absurdity of "adult learning" (the college they attend is essential high school for grown-ups), and the quotability of its larger-than-life characters (a revived Chevy Chase among them), while proceedings are often allowed to stray into a weird "fourth-dimension", where episodes depart from the main storyline to take on a life of their own.

5 stars (Exceptional) The freshest, funniest TV series of recent years, this is essential viewing for fans of almost anything. Abed is the key, but each member of the unlikely study group contributes in their own way. ~Tom H
