Aroview: Fernando Meirelles (CITY OF GOD) directs this kaleidoscopic ensemble drama set in seven cities across the globe, concerning a disparate set of characters and the sexually-motivated choices they make.

Suffering from both over-familiarity and overstatement in the dramatic department, Meirelles is too concerned with dotting the i's and crossing the t's to allow the film to be anything more than the superficial procession. Still, the diverse cast do well to render the obvious material in the best possible light. Based on the Arthur Schnitzler play 'La Ronde'.
