Aroview: A fraulein vampire flick of sleek, urbane sensibility, centred on an alpha-female vamp (Nina Hoss) who descends on Germany in search of a soul mate she can sink her teeth into.

The fanged feminism and futurist architecture of Berlin make for a cosmopolitan horror-romance, with an infectious electro-indie soundtrack matched by director Gansel's (THE WAVE) visual panache. Far removed from the TWILIGHT phenomenon, its hedonistic rush is more redolent of THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO and RUN LOLA RUN.
