Lockout
Aroview: Guy Pearce chews the scenery in this enjoyable piece of space junk, about a hard-as-nails convict who must escape the confines of a futuristic penitentiary with the President's daughter in tow.
Cheese-grater one-liners and schlocky action sequences are par for the course when it comes to B-movies as shameless as this, although Luc Besson's producer tag at least steers the film towards a stylish silliness befitting of the French impresario.

3 stars (Good Enough) An almost great B grader for those interested in the genre, but strays a little too far into cliché. Guy Pearce is the standout, being both a bad ass and a comedian. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) There's really nothing to hold the attention for very long. Some hints at Sci fi but it is soon swamped by the violence. ~Tubbs
