4 stars (Very Good) A very creepy tale by horror-master Clive Barker (along with racial and sexual undertones), I dare you to watch this one alone and then stand in front of a mirror, let alone begin to chant: Candyman, Candyman... ~Tom H

4 stars (Very Good) Works as a literal urban spook flick or as a metaphorical riff on white privilege (and the great American taboo of miscegenation). There maybe imperfections but overall it's a classy, thoughtful, and truly frightening genre gem. ~fairbrother
4 stars (Very Good) This was a breath of fresh hair in the horror-starved early '90s. It still holds up today, helped immeasurably by Tony Todd's extraordinary presence and voice. ~Pearce
4 stars (Very Good) ~Wyatt Earp
