Aroview: 'Chucky', the possessed cabbage-patch kid, goes on a murderous rampage in this clever consumerist parable. Tightly scripted and imaginatively done.

4 stars (Very Good) The very concept of Child's Play in the late 80s was enough to give parents and censors a panic-attack, with a sweet cabbage-patch doll turning demonic killer. A horrifying concept, if looking a little dated in the 2000s. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Impressive - superior to most of its type. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) One of the better late '80s slasher movies, which is admittedly a low hurdle to clear. One star off because the best part is the ending, which it rips off from Trilogy of Terror. ~Pearce
4 stars (Very Good) ~Wyatt Earp
