Last Stand, The

Aroview: Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to his first love - blowing shit up - in this explosive comeback vehicle for the former action star, in which he plays an aging border town sheriff who must prevent an fugitive drug kingpin from escaping to Mexico.

Crappy one-liners and a stock cast of heroes/villains aside, the film plays exactly to expectation, and even benefits from the added flair of its Korean dir. Kim Ji-woon, who imports some energetic and inventive sequences into the tried and true formula.
