Domhnall Gleeson is engagingly 'normal' at the centre of this eccentric band of outsiders, whom are all in various degrees of artistic pursuit and mental health, and the film explores this dynamic with a delicate hand. A lighter, but equally well-modulated follow-up from the dir. of WHAT RICHARD DID.

5 stars (Exceptional) Brave enough to keep it's A–list star in a mask for most of the running time, surreal enough for many actual LOL moments, and human enough to be genuinely moving. Also unnervingly relatable for anyone who has ever been in a band. ~mahinty
