Slow West
Synopsis: New Zealand - specifically Twizel - stands in for Colorado in this tense Western that follows a young Scot, whose travels across America in pursuit of the woman he loves, attract the attention of an outlaw.
“It's only slow in the way a rattlesnake or a predatory killer is slow. This terrific film is actually tense, twisty and brilliant.”~Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

4 stars (Very Good) I was pleasantly surprised at this film's quality. I look forward to this directors' future efforts. Definitely see this film, if you enjoy Westerns. ~Anon
2 stars (Good Try) Fassbender, Mendelsohn & the photography very good. The music is a standout. The script has some good one liners. There are enough odd elements to fill a couple of sequels - but too many for one 84 min. film - half the number would have had more impact. ~Tubbs
