Synopsis: Sequel to the beloved Swedish classic, follows on after the death of conductor Daniel Darius, where the soprano and love of his life expects his child. Her desire is to continue his legacy and bring joy to their village through music. She forms a choir to perform Handel's Messiah at the opening of a new church against the wishes of certain small-minded members of the community.
