Founder, The
Synopsis: The story of the founding of the McDonald's burger empire, with Michael Keaton as the ambitious and manipulative salesman who franchised a Californian burger joint owned by the McDonald brothers in the 1950s.
“turns the unlikely subject of a fast-food chain into a quasi-religious satire, a parable of American striving and, ultimately, a study of artisanal integrity gradually caving in to commercial compromise.”~L.A. Times

2 stars (Good Try) As it is only a dramatisation you really don't know which parts are true which is a pity. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Having read the story of McDonalds, I was pleased to see that the dramatisation of the story of Ray Kroc, and how he obtained and grew the fast food chain, was quite factual. If only the McDonald's had listened to him, they'd be worth a fortune! ~Square Eyes
