Jackie
“Eschewing standard biopic form at every turn, this is a brilliantly constructed, diamond-hard character study.”~Variety
Aroview: A portrait of Jackie Kennedy following the assassination of her husband John F. Kennedy. Natalie Portman provides an intimate and sensitive portrayal to compliment a script which eschews the usual focus on the assassination itself, instead questioning the mythmaking of the era and the relationship between public and private trauma.

5 stars (Exceptional) Chilean Director Larrain weaves a complex structure around a great performance by Natalie Portman of this traumatic week in the life of the private & enigmatic Jackie Kennedy 55 years ago. A sensitive & perceptive film with a great sound track. ~Sandy
2 stars (Good Try) I couldn't always make out what Natalie was saying but it seemed to be one of her better performances. Making a film about someone's real life trauma seems a bit tasteless and mercantile. ~Tubbs
