Aquarius
“It’s a richly detailed character study, immersing the audience in the life and mind of its imperious main character. ”~Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

4 stars (Very Good) Long, slow, witty & very original. Not everyone's cup of tea; gutsy portrait of a brave lively widow fighting against developers to keep her lovely home. Stunningly nuanced acting of Sonia Braga. Sophisticated intergenerational story, but v. modern. ~Sandy
4 stars (Very Good) Although the screenplay is well written it would be interesting to see whether it would still last out the running time of 140 mins. as well as it does if someone other than Sonia Braga was to play the central character. ~Tubbs
