Zookeeper's Wife, The
“Decency, in its raw, instinctive form, is ultimately what earns this a place in the self-conflicted canon of Holocaust cinema. ”~Indiewire
Aroview: A soft-focus but still effective WWII resistance drama based on the real-life story of working wife and mother Antonina Zabinska, who saved hundreds of human and animal lives from the Warsaw Zoo after Poland is invaded by the Nazis in 1939.
Based on the non-fiction book by Diane Ackerman, which in turn drew from Zabinska's diaries.
