Baby Driver
“An awe-inspiring piece of filmmaking that plays out as a musical through the lens of an action thriller.”~Empire
Aroview: Entertainingly preposterous heist-comedy from British upstart Edgar Wright, centred around a precociously talented getaway driver whose every heist is sound-tracked by the beats he listens to in order to drown out his tinnitus.
As slick and hyper-graphic as a series of smart-phone commercials, and featuring an impressively wide variety of songs to accentuate (or subvert) the relentless action, if rather lacking in substance.

2 stars (Good Try) The screenplay has been thrashed to death many times before but the film is helped by having a strong supporting cast in Spacey, Foxx and Hamm. ~Tubbs
2 stars (Good Try) The gimmicky premise delivers some fun set-pieces, but trips over itself making Baby "nice": if he'd been a bastard (or at least a better actor) this mightn't feel so gratingly twee. Hamm and Foxx do well in blah wiseguy roles, Spacey's on autopilot. ~fairbrother
