Smash Palace
Aroview: One of local cinema's finest hours is this rural tale of a brusque auto-mechanic (Bruno Lawrence) whose estrangement from his family leads him to kidnap his 7-year-old daughter. The springboard for the director's career in Hollywood.

2 stars (Good Try) Certainly Bruno Lawrence's finest hour. Worth watching if you have spare time & an interest in Horopito! Crass, but not boring. ~Sandy
2 stars (Good Try) The screenplay does have an NZ 80s feel to it but the screenplay does not "brake" on any new ground. The "Making of" is quite good. ~Tubbs
