Killing of a Sacred Deer, The
“To see an unfettered nightmare like this from such an idiosyncratic director feels like a cruel treat, and a welcome stylistic stretch.”~New York Magazine
Aroview: Colin Farrell returns for the singular director of THE LOBSTER for another round of macabre absurdism, this time cast as a cardiovascular surgeon and family man whose idyllic domestic existence gradually unravels after he befriends a seemingly benign fatherless teenager.
The director returns to the implicit cruelty that characterised his native Greek language drama, DOGTOOTH, cementing his reputation as an original and fearless provocateur.

2 stars (Good Try) It is different and although it tries to unsettle its audience it is worth a try. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) Ultra black comedy. Great acting by the young antagonist. Nicole and Colin turn in good performances as well in this strange and dark tale. ~bikewrench
