Darkest Hour
“It’s a deliciously unsubtle testament to the power of words and their infinite capacity to inspire.”~Indiewire
Aroview: Gary Oldman embodies Winston Churchill to Oscar-winning effect in this rousing and roundly effective historical drama set during the early days of World War II when the fate of Nazi-ravaged Western Europe hung on the newly-appointed British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Written and produced by Kiwi Anthony McCarten.

5 stars (Exceptional) ~securitysteve
2 stars (Good Try) The set designs are well done with the stand out being the opening scene when the opposition is yelling for Chamberlain's resignation. There is little to recommend in the screenplay as it covers a small portion of history that has been thrashed to death. ~Tubbs
