Set in 1930's London, 25 years after the events of the original film, with Poppins (ageless, naturally) returning as the magical nanny for the children of Michael Banks, now a troubled man in financial trouble following the death of his wife a year earlier.

3 stars (Good Enough) Except for the dance of the chimney sweeps, as a musical, it won't be memorable but it does have high quality set designs and other quality production values that make it worthwhile. ~Tubbs
