Greta
“Neil Jordan’s deft control of pace and tone elevates Greta past mere gimmickry, resulting in a comic thriller whose goofy humor only compounds its mastery of suspense. ”~Slant
Aroview: Creepy psychological thriller from Neil Jordan with a reliably fantastic performance from Huppert as a lonely widow with a sinister agenda who befriends a vulnerable young woman (Chloë Grace Moretz) after a chance encounter. Emerges as a campy blend of horror and comedy which is nutty enough to deserve some B-movie cred.

2 stars (Good Try) Typical of a Jordan screenplay it starts out very well but doesn't see it through. The excellent casting (including a compulsory appearance from Stephen Rae) however is worth your time. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) ~Anonz
