“Throughout Photograph, Batra shows a sensitive touch and a patient eye for the subtle rhythms of human connection.”~Jordan Raup, The Film Stage
Aroview: A charming romance from the director of THE LUNCHBOX set in Mumbai, where a struggling street photographer convinces a shy stranger to pose as his wife to appease his beloved grandmother's desire for him to marry. Explores the unique mix of tradition and modernity in contemporary Indian culture, and is as much a love letter to the city of Mumbai as it is an old-fashioned romance between two unlikely protagonists.

3 stars (Good Enough) The low key performance of the two leads is just right. The male patiently surviving onslaughts from his nagging grandmother whilst the female is at all times beautifully non effusive. Soppy romantic screenplay writers can learn a lot from watching this. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Beautifully shot, every frame a brilliantly-lit painting. A very gentle film, with great music. Wonderful characters. Sanya Malhotra has the stunning, perfect beauty & poise of youth. ~Anon
