I Am Greta
“A wonderful, rich documentary, at points it moved me to tears.”~Karen Gordon, Original-Cin
Aroview: A portrait of teenage climate change activist Greta Thunberg, which starts with her one-person school strike outside Swedish parliament, and chronicles her rise to fame as the spokesperson for the crusade to push governments worldwide to adopt policies to protect the planet. The film culminates with her 2019 speech at the United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York City, which she travelled to via boat across the Atlantic Ocean. Less of a polemic about climate change, this is more of a glimpse into the life of the extraordinary young woman behind the movement.

3 stars (Good Enough) Not really a glimpse of her inner life. Rather a portrait of one driven by her father's ambition. I think she's a hero, but here she is a puppet. The film doesn't do justice to this brave girl, nor does it explain how she is such a brilliant speaker. ~Anon
3 stars (Good Enough) She starts off small but ends up taking no prisoners confronting the World's leaders. Go Girl! ~Tubbs
