Aroview: The third in a loose trilogy of gangster films directed by prolific German iconoclast Rainer Werner Fassbinder early in his career.

A German-American Vietnam vet takes a job as a hired assassin from some renegade cops, in between visiting his old neighbourhood and family, and getting involved with the girlfriend of one of the cops. Pays homage to classic Hollywood gangster films, while exploring the theory that violence is an expression of repressed love. Classic Fassbinder!
