Walk on the Wild Side
Aroview: A schlocky tease-fest with Laurence Harvey as a penniless cowboy who hitches to New Orleans with a drifter (Jane Fonda) searching for his former girlfriend (Capucine). Finding her employed at a bordello called "The Doll's House", his attempts to lure her away comes up against the iron will of the madam (Barbara Stanwyck).
Adapted from the 'scandalous' novel by Nelson Algren, the excellent score is by Elmer Bernstein, and the title credits designed by the legendary Saul Bass.
