Aroview: Western directed by and starring Burt Lancaster, an adaptation of the novel The Gabriel Horn by Felix Holt.

Beautifully shot in Kentucky and saturated with Technicolour, the plot follows a frontiersman who hits the road with his son in the 1820's, hoping to make it to Texas, but encounters a bullwhip cracking villain (Walter Matthau in his film debut) on the way.
