“Compelling drama about parenting and how it can get in the way of friendship, that is underwritten by a thoughtful, nuanced script and brought to life by an impressive ensemble.”~Jane Freebury
Aroview: A gripping psychodrama from Australia, inspired by real life events, following parents attempting to deal with the situation of a 4-year old girl making allegations against the 9-year old son of a local politician.
Writer director Michael Bentham willfully limits himself to an intense focus on the bickering of these two sets of parents, and the result is an unbearably tense, claustrophobic portrait of adults pushed to the brink.
