Look Back in Anger

Aroview: TV production of John Osborne's influential play from the 50's, directed by Judi Dench.

Kenneth Branagh plays the educated but disaffected "angry young man" in an abusive relationship with his upper-middle-class wife (Emma Thompson), while Welsh lodger Gerard Horan tries to keep the peace. A worthy adaptation of groundbreaking material, relying on superb acting performances.
