Only the Animals
“A highly satisfying and gripping thriller that, like the best of them, finds the time to properly contemplate the depths of its dominoes as they are arranged before the capricious hand of chance gleefully knocks them down, one by one.”~Christopher Machell, CineVue
Aroview: A superb psychological thriller set in rural France that uncovers a twisted web of deceit concerning five people who are all linked to the disappearance of a woman during a snowstorm.
It boasts a Coen Brothers-esque tone with intriguing characterizations and a keep-you-guessing interlocking plot, adapted from Colin Niel’s 2017 novel Seules les bêtes.

2 stars (Good Try) Bonnard's character (the one with the nose) just wasn't believable. Some segments of the sliced up screenplay were more watchable than others. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Quirky & different! A riveting French thriller. Less said the better - just watch it & see! Very clever! ~Anon
