Keeping Rosy

Aroview: Maxine Peake plays a women whose life is shattered after her company's board of directors betrays her, in this chilly thriller based on director Steve Reeves and co-writer Mike Oughton's award-winning short "Taking Life".

Peake is outstanding as a complex character who becomes more likeable as she becomes more desperate, and aside from some moments of implausibility this is an immersive and well-crafted urban psychodrama.
