Fall of the Innocent

Aroview: WWII drama about the Nazi massacre and destruction of the Czech village of Lidice.

The main protagonist is a man from the village who is sent to prison after the death of his son in a tragic accident. While incarcerated he hears rumours of the invasion but only becomes fully aware of the mass executions and deportations in his community after he is released. The film puts a human face on the atrocities of this tragedy.
