Dustbin Baby
Aroview: BBC drama based on Jacqueline Wilson's 2001 novel of the same name about the troubled life of a young girl (Dakota Blue Richards, THE GOLDEN COMPASS) who was abandoned in a dustbin as a newborn baby.
Now 14, she leaves her foster mother after a devastating row and sets out to find her real mother. Her journey explores themes including maternal bonding, bullying, and youth crime, but is also filled with humour and love.
