Aroview: Laure Calamy again proves she's one of the most likeable actresses in French cinema as a working mother who finds her people among those offering illegal but safe abortions on the brink of its legalization in 1973.

As well as getting the look-and-feel of the period right, the film seems to have an emotional mainline to the women put in the position of terminating a pregnancy and, in spite of the harrowing subject at its centre, is a warm celebration of female solidarity and basic human kindness.
