Priscilla
Synopsis: Sofia Coppola's delicate and understated adaptation of Priscilla Presley's 1985 memoir about her courtship and marriage to the king of rock 'n' roll.
“It elegantly upgrades a key player in the Elvis legend from the sidelines, and anyone attuned to Coppola’s distinctive wavelengths will find it a pleasurably emotional experience.”~The Hollywood Reporter
Aroview: Sofia Coppola's delicate and understated adaptation of Priscilla Presley's 1985 memoir about the stifling reality of being Mrs. Elvis Presley. Aussie it-boy Jacob Elordi especially impresses as Elvis who, at 6'5", towers over a diminutive Cailee Spaeny, but this only adds to the imbalance of power at the heart of the drama and their complicated relationship.
