Phoenician Scheme, The

Aroview: A wealthy business tycoon (Del Toro) appoints his only daughter, a nun (Newcomer Mia Threapleton), as sole heir to his estate. As he embarks on an ambiguously complex new enterprise, they soon become the target of scheming rivals, terrorists, and assassins.

As with every Anderson film, the swift pace and razor wit does not lapse. There is a wealth of colours, textures and painterly vignettes to look at. However, the numerous celebrity cameos somewhat detract from the focus of the story.
