Tarzan and His Mate

Aroview: Johnny Weissmuller returns in what is widely considered the best of the Tarzan series, with first-rate production values, stunts and Maureen O'Sullivan as an all-time favourite Jane.

The Films nude scenes caused outrage in Hollywood, leading to the enforcement of the infamously prudish "Hays Code" which lasted thirty years. A surreal two minute swimming sequence was cut from the film only to be restored from the original print fifty years later.
