Vertigo
Aroview: Hitchcock at his most daring and surreal weaves a complex tale of neurosis when Jimmy Stewart's detective begins trailing a mysterious woman (Novak). Its bizarre twist bewildered unsuspecting audiences at the time and at once enshrined it as a cult classic.

4 stars (Very Good) The plot is complex but satisfying in some sick way. Jimmy Stewart is, as always, incredible. ~dr.strangelove
2 stars (Good Try) Very slow. Stewart struggles and looks uncomfortable with the romantic scenes. Novac is a concrete post. Best parts are the beautiful location shots of San Francisco.Excellent bonus features. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Slow, but riveting, and the cast are excellent. Expressionistic colour, beautiful photography, fantastic score. A truly disturbing meditation on the nature of desire, with detective plot as McGuffin... ~HiFi
