Last Seduction, The
Aroview: Magnificent modern noir in which Linda Fiorentino offers the most brazen female performance in years, power-driving her way through a script that sizzles with deadly wit and inventive surprise. Blokes, though, should prepare for the worst.

4 stars (Very Good) Bridget, the ultimate ice-queen, skips town with the cash her dead-beat doctor husband receives from a drug deal. She hooks up with the naive Mike who will do anything for her, even murder. Clever, intriguing black humour. Definitely not a date film.. ~GenXGirl
4 stars (Very Good) Wonderfully perverse Swiss watch of a film, with Fiorentino (and John Dahl) in never-better form. Everything cranks along splendidly, especially Joseph Vitarelli's music. ~HiFi
0 star (Not rated) for we who love real women, it started off brazen, but became boring. ~Anon
