Aroview: Influential urban style piece that brought its director serious attention in the West.

There's no plot to speak of; Kar-Wai's style is an organic kind of cinema that carves its narrative out of moods, textures and landscapes. Though enamoured with a fair amount of sex appeal, audacity and the extraordinarily fluid photography of Christopher Doyle, this debatably adds up to something less than the sum of its parts.
