Aroview: The director of GREMLINS and EXPLORERS affectionate nod to science fiction B-movies and film director/gimmickmeister, William Castle. Set during the Cuban missile crisis, John Goodman plays the cigar chomping showman who brings his movies to town to scare the hell out of young audiences. Uneven satire is above-average family fare nonetheless.
