Blood and Wine

Aroview: Jack Nicholson dusts off his cynical, scowling persona of the 70s, as a desperate, philandering Florida wine merchant who enlists Michael Caine for a dodgy jewel heist. Dir. Bob Rafelson (who directed Jack in Five Easy Pieces) dollops on lots of that old-style bitterness and black humour, in a cleverly plotted tango of greed and betrayal.
