Conspiracy Theory
Aroview: Mel Gibson plays a conspiracy-obsessed psychiatric patient, who bends the sympathetic ear of lawyer Julia Roberts, and uncovers a real one. A few Acts of God and hair's breadth escapades later and they're still fighting fit. A protracted running time gives one far too much time to analyse the gaping plot holes…

3 stars (Good Enough) One of those movies that you sit down and watch just for the sheer fun of it. Fast paced, Mel Gibson carries off the lovable nut-case perfectly. No-one believes the poor thing, but I did (but then I love conspiracy movies!) ~Square Eyes
2 stars (Good Try) Gibson is miscast and not very good. Unfortunately, he has one of the lead roles, and his melodramatics and other antics are just a distraction and do not help with the overlong viewing experience. ~Tubbs
