Doing battle with the toy monsters called Gorgonites these steroid-packed commandos shoulder some excellently conceived action-thrills, plus numerous satirical barbs from dir. Joe Dante (GREMLINS).

4 stars (Very Good) I loved this film so much as a youngster that I can't not give it at least 4 stars. I truly never wanted to own any on-screen action character toys as much as I wanted the Toy Soldiers. Except possibly a Gremlin. ~Tom H
