Thieves Like Us
Aroview: One of dir. Altman's masterfully subversive genre-studies of the 70s, expands the 'gangster film' into a quirky, desperado version of Depression America. Keith Carradine leads his band of malcontents in various bank robberies, whilst having desultory complications with Shelley Duvall.

3 stars (Good Enough) Although the scenes between Carradine and Duvall tended to take the impetus out of the screenplay the film was very well written, shot, and cast. Louise Fletcher was terrific without seeming to make any effort. ~Tubbs
