Beneath the Valley of the Ultravixens

Aroview: Russ Meyer plunges deep into absurd self-parody for his last completed feature - a raunchy sex-farce about a small town couple who need a whole lotta loving, and get it with a little community help.

The off-colour sexual vignettes only occassionally gets the laughs intended, and though there's much more here for the raincoat brigade, it misses the charm and inspiration of his '60s work.
