Holy Man

Aroview: Bravely playing against his profane persona, the unholy Eddie Murphy gets to fill a pair of Gandhi pajamas in this ironic 'messiah comedy'. But after entering the lives of well-to-do yuppies Jeff Goldblum and Kelly Preston, genial Ed is cocked to take satirical pot-shots at some fairly unmissable targets (eg TV, commercialism), while reciting recycled 12-step program platitudes. Amen.
