Aroview: Creepy version of the Stephen King novella uses its pungent story-hook about a teenager discovering and blackmailing an ex-Nazi living in his suburb to supply the sick thrills you'd expect. Without adding much in the way of insight, dir. Singer (USUAL SUSPECTS) does summon up a suffocating atmosphere for Ian McKellen's death-camp kommandant to Seig Heil around in.
