Tango Lesson, The
Aroview: Uninspired by her latest script, film-maker Sally Potter becomes obsessed with the tango, and soon strikes a deal with an Argentine dancer she meets in Paris - if he will teach her the tango, she will let him star in her next film.
As with her ORLANDO, Potter's dance-film-with-a-difference might be an acquired taste, but demands attention for its courage, originality and visual splendour, and thus enjoys a fervent (and ever-widening) cult following.
